Anti-Inflamatory Cocktail For Joint Pain

If you suffer from back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, or any joint or muscle injuries, then this recipe is for you. Its also great for patients with fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, and irritable bowel disease.

Patients always ask me what else they can do at home to get better as quickly as possible. There are 3 causes of pain, and all 3 need to be addressed to help relieve your pain as quickly as possible. The first is structural misalignment. This is where the bones of the spine or joints are stuck or out of alignment due to arthritis, degeneration, or poor posture. The next 2 causes are inflammation due to poor diet and toxins. This is where we need to address your diet and remove any food intolerances, food additives, artificial sweeteners, processed foods, or high fructose syrup. Lastly, we may have built up toxins from the environment such as water sources, food sources, pesticides, chemicals we put on our bodies, like makeup and medications.

Golden Milk – The Recipe For Joint Pain

There is a home remedy I recommend to all my patients as a natural anti-inflammatory. It’s called Golden Milk. It has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for pain relief, digestion, blood purification, and liver detox. It is inexpensive and effortless to make. Unlike over the counter medication, there are no side effects that may harm your kidneys, liver and cause ulcers. There are many versions to the recipe where I see people add honey, ginger, pepper, cayenne pepper, cinnamon,  cold versions, warm versions. The recipe below is the version I prefer. It’s quick and easy.

1 can of coconut milk

1 tablespoon Tumeric powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Heat the mixture until warm. Drink 1-2 glasses a day.
